Neurodiversity & Workplace

Inclusive workplace design recognises that there is no single way of working, concentrating or interacting .

The goal is not to create a stimulus-free environment, but to provide choice, flexibility and control , from where people work and collaborate to where they can pause, focus and regulate. .

Designing for different needs creates workplaces that can work better for everyone.

WORKPLACE DESIGN | Supporting diverse ways of working

From the layout and sequence of spaces to circulation, quiet areas, focus zones, flexible furniture and self-regulation tools, every design decision can influence how people navigate, work, interact and regulate within the workplace.

Designing for neurodiversity means recognising different ways of experiencing and using space, and creating greater choice, flexibility, comfort and inclusion for everyone..

What we do

User Journey & Sensory Experience

The workplace experience begins from the moment employees arrive.

From arrival and wayfinding to individual work, meetings, collaboration, social interaction, breaks and transitions between spaces, each stage of the working day can introduce different sensory and cognitive demands.

An inclusive workplace considers how noise, lighting, movement, visual stimulation, spatial density and the availability of quiet spaces can influence focus, communication, comfort and regulation throughout the day.
