My Profile

Design and Neurodiversity.

With over 20 years of experience in interior architecture (retail, workplace, offices, and F&B), I currently specialize in Design and Neurodiversity.
More about my practice: www.toolkitdesign.com.

In recent years, I have focused on inclusive design, completing a PG Cert degree in the Psychology of Neurodiversity and attending specialist courses in accessibility, including programs offered by CAE UK, the Do-IT program by Dr. Kirby, and Attuned, which focuses on sensory system regulation.

My work focuses on designing more inclusive and accessible workplaces and built environments, supporting teams and organizations in transforming existing spaces into environments that promote the well-being and efficiency of all individuals, with particular attention to the needs of neurodivergent people.

Key competencies developed:

• Design of inclusive, sensory-aware environments that support neurodiverse individuals

• Integration of strategies to support the well-being and productivity of neurodivergent individuals

• Consulting and training for teams and organizations on inclusion and accessibility

• Specialist consultancy on the relationship between sensory processing and the environment.
